ABSTRACT


SALAM , Thesis title: "The Influence of Principal Leadership and Learning Methods Against Student Achievement in Public Elementary School Arahan Kidul II Kecamatan Arahan Kabupaten Indramayu"

Many factors that affect student achievement, some from within (internal) and some from outside the self (external). One is the school leadership and learning methods. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is simultaneous influence between Principal Leadership and Learning Methods on Student Achievement in Elementary School Arahan Kidul II Kecamatan Arahan Kabupaten Indramayu.

Sampling techniques in the study conducted by Total Sample, the sampling method as a whole regardless of the strata present in the sample of the population there are 30 samples.
Results of this study indicate that there is positive between Principal Leadership variables Student Achievement variable of 87.6%. While the hypothesis test results obtained on tcount = 2.914 > t0.05 (28)= 1.701, then the Principal Leadership Student Achievement variable there is a significant effect. There is a positive effect between variables Learning Method on Student Achievement variable of 95.3%. And the results of hypothesis testing variables Learning Method is obtained that is because the value of tcount = 8.142 > t0.05 (28) = 1.701, the Learning Method on Student Achievement variable there is a real and significant impact. Simultaneously there is a positive effect between the independent variables Principal Leadership and Learning Methods on Student Achievement dependent variable of 96.4 %, so the two can be mutually independent variables affect the dependent variable Student Achievement by 96.4%. While the results of the ANOVA or Fcount in to a value of 365.749 which is greater than Ftable (29) at 3.33 with a significant level of 0.000 for 0.000 < 0.05, then it can be said Principal Leadership variables and the variable learning method are jointly significant effect on Student Achievement variable in Public Elementary School Arahan Kidul II Kecamatan Arahan Kabupaten Indramayu.
